Emergency Lights was created by Mark
Aircraft just out of "C" check. A couple emergency lights inop.....

Dropped the overhead battery storage panel and just stared for a second.

The pins from the charger are supposed to go "in" the sockets on the battery...... not underneath them.

I'm not quite sure how the battery was even installed this way.

Wrong , but rather close looking battery was installed? Or were the pins bent as a result?

Bent down...... They had to be carefully straightened out (with power removed from charger).

Also if you see the fuses on the charger diagram, they are readily available for order easy to replace on the side and 9/10 times when a charger is failed that's the culprit.

Little 5 amp ones if I remember correctly.

Update: Uh.... it states fuse amperage right there in the image.
