These light assemblies are pookied in. They'll "hopefully" pop back into the fuselage without to much force. The wires should be removed first with the white end of a red-white plastic tool. It's a good idea to mark "A" and "B" before they're extracted. Nothing but screws and (minimal) sealant after that. If the placement of wires is not known. "A" is ground and it can be checked with a meter.
