Mark, with regard to an email I sent just a moment ago, please find followings:
1-with regard to file 1.png, why swivel hinge may be used instead of fixed one at Attachment points of elevator and the tab?
2-would you mind explain thoroughly how is clamped hinge different to the slip hinge?
3-how does inspection putty reveal the distress or displacement of the clamp hinge bolt?
4-with regard to files 5.png and 6.png, I believe during wiggle test, the master fitting lug has to be pushed by finger and we would find it remain at rest if it has not been damaged, am I right. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Please refer to AMM27-31-31(Iemailed) pages 6-12 for hinge configurations, and pages 6,13,17,34,3536 for inspection putty

I have never participated in heavier flight control removal/replacement or inspection. Members who have access the 737-300/400/500 Maintenance Manual (27-31-31) who can answer the previous questions..... please feel free to join in.
